The big idea

The Christian life is war. We battle against the world, our own flesh and the devil. War is not fair. In fact, our enemies will conspire against us in a thousand ways to scare us out of trusting our Saviour and doing what He commands. No wonder then that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Christians need courage to make it to the finish line, but that courage is not found by pep rallies, safety nets and sure-fire techniques. It is only found in the Lord.
