Our Story So Far
Grace Fellowship Church East Toronto was planted in 2011 by Grace Fellowship Church Toronto, who sent out a group of people to establish a gospel witness in east Toronto. Beginning as a small home gathering in Don Mills, our desire from the start has been simple: to love God, love one another, and share the good news of Jesus in our community.
As the church family grew, we moved from a living room to a local school, and by God’s grace, we quickly became self-sustaining. In those early years, we saw God provide leaders, deepen our community, and add to our number.
Over the years, our Sunday gatherings have taken place in a few different locations—first at Greenland Public School, then Senator O’Connor College School, and now the Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre. At each step, God has given us just what we needed, reminding us that the church is not a building but a people he has called together.
In 2021, we joined the Great Commission Collective, and in 2024 we became part of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches. Along the way, we’ve continued to grow in leadership and deepen our commitment to making disciples of Jesus.
Our story has had seasons of change, but one thing has never changed: God has been faithful. From a handful of people in a living room to a growing community today, we are grateful for his blessings and excited for what he will continue to do in and through our church.
